Pekan, Pahang: Gumum+ism is an event that convenes local
and international artists in one location to exchange knowledge and establish
network and cooperation in arts. It is supported by National Visual Arts
Gallery; Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia; and Pahang Tourism, besides local art
fraternity like Persatuan Seni Rupa Malaysia (PeRUPA & PeRUPA TV), Artedecokl and Silence
Art Group.

This event is to be held in Tasik Chini, Pekan,
Pahang for 3 days and 2 nights from 14 to 16 February 2020. Debuted as an
international art event in Pahang, it is expected to attract more than 100
participants who have already confirmed their presence, including 13 of them
from Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippine, India, Denmark, Indonesia, and Japan.

Malaysian heavyweights like Prof Awang Damit
Ahmad, Dr. Rosli Zakaria, Zaim Darulaman and Ismadi Salahudin have all
confirmed their attendance as a show of support for this event. Various
programs including Art Discussion, Live Painting, Plain Air, Urban Sketching,
Performing Arts and a few recreational activities like lake exploration, native
village visit, as well as river trails are expected to draw crowds. Students
from the local universities like ASWARA, UMK and UCYP will take part in the
programs along with the local communities.
This event will be an annual do with different
locations to bring arts closer and extensively to the community.

Satu dokumentasi yang penting. Gambaran yang tepat dan jelas menunjukkan bagaimana para seniman gigih memelihara bumi bertuah ini. Dengan set-skill dalam bidang seni, mereka ke depan menyuara dan merekodkan situasi yang sedia ada sekarang.
